About the Trainer

Cathy C. Lee is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) with 25 years in professional fund development with nonprofit organizations. A native of Alabama and resident of Birmingham, Cathy's expertise includes educational, institutional and entrepreneurial nonprofit management.  She specializes in establishing development functions for new and emerging organizations, development assessments, annual funds, grant and proposal preparation, and capital campaign planning. Her special interest is in staff training, board coaching, and empowering nonprofit organizations to be more productive, self-reliant, and accountable. She subscribes to the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)'s Code of Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice, and upholds the Donor Bill of Rights.
