ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Training and Testing

If your company isn't yet in compliance with the 2010 food safety certification requirement, time is running out. Get prepared now with Mobile Technical Institute's ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification* training classes and computer based certification testing.
*This certification fulfills the requirement that went into effect in Alabama on January 1, 2010 that at least one person in charge of Risk 3 and Risk 4 establishments hold a food safety certification examination administered by an accredited certifying program recognized by the Conference for Food Protection.
Training + Certification Exam
The ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification class is a full day training session that includes instructor-led training by a Certified ServSafe Instructor, followed by administration of the computer-based ServSafe certification exam on the day of training. Test results are available immediately. The cost of the class is $160 and includes the ServSafe Essentials (5th edition) book and the exam fee.

Certification Exam Only
If you'd prefer to sit for the certification exam without taking the class, call to schedule your computer-based exam at MTI's certification testing facility. Testing is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, as well as one Saturday each month. Exams are administered by appointment only, on a space-available basis. The exam fee is $68, and results are available immediately.
