MTI's Creative Writing for Grant Writers class emphasizes the creative aspect of writing grant proposals employing techniques to “get started” writing as well as creative writing techniques that will grant proposals “jump out” as distinctive. This class will utilize a common technique used in creative writing of writing from a prompt. This class will teach participants how to find and/or create a prompt and proceed to develop a grant from the prompt.

About the Trainer
Dr. Bob Zeanah is a freelance writer working mainly writing grants for small non-profit agencies. He had a 34 year career in public education, the last three of which were spent grant writing for a large school system. He has experience writing federal and state grants as well as private foundation grants. Dr. Zeanah is a certified consultant for three nationally recognized programs and provides consulting and grant writing services for numerous non-profit agencies.
