MTI is a training facility completely focused on workforce development. The institute provides straight to the point training for individuals seeking better job opportunities. In addition the institute is an excellent resource for small companies to train their current employees in areas such as management, sales, and computer applications. Mobile Tech also helps state and federal agencies with retraining dislocated workers in need of higher demand skilled jobs. The school is licensed by the Alabama Department of Post-Secondary Education and approved by various agencies.
Yes, MTI offers very effective graduate job assistance. Although no ethical school can guarantee anyone job, MTI continues provide services to our graduates well beyond graduation. As of 11/2005 our placement reported at 96%.* (* This is for informational purpose only with no representation of current or future job opportunities nor did all our students participate in use of the schools services for placement into related fields.)
Mobile Technical Institute offers many types of financial assistance programs to our students, and continues to look at options to keep training affordable. MTI offers student who demonstrate financial need an institutional grant which can provide up to $2000.00 in funding based on the program. In addition, the school can provide a Workforce Development Assistance Scholarship for up to $3275.00 if the student qualifies, which is not based on financial need. Yes the school is approved for many types of VA educational benefit programs including the GI Bill and VA Vocational Rehabilitation. For additional information call the admissions office.
