About the Event

Attendees will have an opportunity to attend several workshops designed to provide them with improved job seeking skills. Participants have the option to attend all sessions or to choose those topics that best meet their needs.

• 10 am - 10:15 am, Break
• 10:15 am - 11:45 am, Interviewing Tips and Techniques: What the Hiring Manager is Really Looking For
• 11:45 am - 12:45 pm, Lunch on your own
• 12:45 pm - 2:30 pm, Effective Job Search Techniques for the 21st Century

There will be door prizes, information about services and resources available for people looking for jobs and career advancement and for those thinking about starting a business, expert question and answer sessions, and more.

Additionally, tax deductible donations for Our Sisters Closet will be accepted on site throughout the day. Please drop off any clean and neatly pressed women's suits, separates, and men's ties in good condition that you no longer need to help job seekers prepare to enter the drop market.

This workshop is free and open to the public. It will be held at MTI's Mobile, Alabama training facility. Seating is limited and advance registration is requested.
